ten-commandmentsA review of the Illinois statute and administrative code shows that the General Assembly has not fully addressed the issue of certain individual's bearing deeply held religious convictions not to use a Social Security Number as a universal identifier.

Possible religious opinions regarding the SSN are:

  • It is a retirement account number only, not to be used for identification as originally proscribed by the Social Security Administration.
  • It is a retirement account number, never used as an identifying mark like The Mark of the Beast .
  • The SSN used as an ID violates one's right to individuality, given sufficient (Christian) appellation from birth.
  • It is a clone of the Hollerith Code used by Nazi Germany as an ID to indicate slavery; elimination of inalienable rights, freedom and dignity.
  • It is a precursor to The Mark of the Beast and should never be obtained or used as an ID.
  • It is the Mark of the Beast and should never be obtained or used as an ID.
  • It represents the commercial social system established by the Biblical Beast that claims to be God.
